Actually, I gave it to my wife on Mother’s Day thinking she’d love it and I think she does but she has a mat that she’s used for years and you know you get kind of attached to them when you practice a lot on. Well, I started borrowing it and quickly got attached to it. (Not attached in the yogic sense, I know all returns to dust…) and I don’t care that it’s rose colored it’s the mat i like to use when I practice and when I teach and it feels great. I love the raised bars at the top and back of the mat that help me power up the pose. It feels good to be on a natural material!
I can’t imagine going back to a plastic mat. I’m obsessed
My mom got me this rug as a gift as I am a hot yoga instructor and I loved the design with the ribs. However, this rug SHEDS LIKE NO OTHER. I’ve washed it, vacuumed it, scraped it, yet it’s still shedding so much. The shedding is too distracting while to teach or practice. It’s been over a year of me trying and I’ve finally just put it to rest as a last resort backup option. Not worth the price I’m sad to say.
I love it because practice on this yoga rug have a lot of benefits. I love the feelings of grounding, I love the beautiful smell of herbs when I’m practicing on it I will never I will never go back to rubber mats again… Highly recommend!
