The first mat I ordered (Sunstone) didn’t look like the color shown online—it wasn’t yellow at all. Luckily, customer service was responsive and offered me a discount, which I appreciated. Since it was just a color issue, it didn’t impact my overall experience too much.
I loved the transition to this new material. It really makes a difference during practice. The only thing I’d change is the center thickness. I wish it were about twice as thick, as it can be a little hard on the knees.
After about 10 months of use, I washed the mat for the first time following their recommended method with soap nuts. Unfortunately, the bottom of the mat became sticky. It could be user error on the wash or the warm climate where I live—hard to say. But it started leaving a residue on my hardwood floor after each use.
I reached out to customer support again, hoping for a solution. While we weren’t able to fix the issue with that particular mat, they did send me a replacement, which I really appreciated. I haven’t washed the new one yet and have been storing it in a cooler part of my home. So far, so good—fingers crossed!
Honestly, the customer service really saved the experience for me. If they hadn’t been so helpful, I probably would’ve left a much lower rating especially for the price point. But they were great about addressing my concerns, and that made all the difference.
